It is cool. Also sucks in a way seeing the Tigers and Royals both be playoff teams, execute a rebuild and return to being playoff teams while the Mariners continue to flounder.

Flounder is the way to put it. Perhaps Dipoto needs to quietly execute his plan rather than publicly announcing them like his 10 year plan or 54% bullshit. For a while, the A's and Rays were master at executing their rebuild plans despite the payroll and now we're quietly seeing the Tigers and Royals. The fact of the is, 1 playoffs appearance in 23 years is unacceptable.
