That was on Sunday afternoon. When I was a kid Husky Highlights would be shown on Sunday and right after that Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom came on and after that it was Walt Disney. Bruce what's his name was the host of Husky Highlights for years.

Saturdays I'd listen to the Husky games on the radio in the barn while I was cleaning horse stalls.

So why not get out front and be open about it before now? Holding onto it and keeping it secret or at least very quiet the last few months did nothing for them. If you weren't going to hide it through the opening game there really isn't any reason for it.

I miss the days where you could walk up to every team practice and sit in the stands and where nothing was kept secret. You want to scout us and sit in our stands and learn what plays we are working on? Go for it, you still can't stop us. That's how it was.

Given the new rules allowing kids to play in up to 4 games and still preserve red shirts, he's likely to not come back until the stretch run at the earliest. Sounds like Doctors were upbeat about it and it wasn't one of the worst case ACL procedures.

Won't have him for those critical early season games, but might/should have him after the bye when other injuries might be piling up.
