As of now tho, sandhill is leading for the lineman award, and thats the only high up player.. jjm was 12 for the QB one and we had a couple defenders from 8-10 in their awards.. ill give fi als on those after the season.


Herbstreit was pimping chuck hard for heisman during the next game, but hes bot in the top 5 yet

Nittany Lions Limp Out of Lincoln
Lincoln is rocking following a 42-10 beating of rival Penn State.

On a day where everything was clicking for the Huskers, Penn State came into Lincoln with no chance to win. Chuck kicked things off with a bang not much longer than a minute in, scoring from 1 yard out. After a strong defensive stand, Chuck wasted no time, scoring on the first play of the drive and going for 80 yards. Chuck would finish the day with 275 rushing yards and 4 TD's (1,80,3,68). During the broadcast Kirk Herbstreit, of ESPN, was pimping Chuck pretty hard for the Heisman, but the Freshman doesn't appear on any top 5 ballots as of this week. Chuck said after the game "Coach Frost is my new dad. He's the best, and I really like my role in this offense. I feel bad for my former mentor, LaCorn, but I'm obviously the better back, and should win the Heisman this year." Can't say much for the kid, but he sure has a big head.

Quarterback JJM finished the day with 75 passing and 77 rushing yards with 2 TD tosses to Oakie. JJM said "Alls I really had ta do was give it to Chuck en sech, but I gave Oakie his due too. Now we gotta win out and get to thee Natty" showing his eagerness to compete.

Penn State struggled on offense all day, and didn't manage to score until the 4th Quarter. Upstate recorded 2 sacks and after the game said "Them guys didn't stand a chance, we was just better. It was like I was playing on my Playstation or something, only the game didn't freeze."

The Huskers take on Minnesota next, and are sitting at #5 in the country. Sandhill is the only Husker in the top 5 for any major awards, and leads all linemen in Pancake blocks.

With the running game firing on all cylinders, not much need for us receivers.....that bad ass block you laid out that mo-fo to break Chucks 80 yarder would get you kicked out the game next season.....fucking BS rules preventing us receivers from lighting fuckers up when we get the chance!!!
