Nope, I'm saying his EGO will decide where and how he goes.
I had no problem with him moving to Miami, I had an issue with the Side Show he put on in doing so.

If you are talking about the event at the arena, blame Riley.
The players were basically forced to do it.

I'm talking about "The Decision". If you can't remember it, you are either very young, or have decided to block it from your memory.

I don't think so. Maybe?

If they signed James and brought back CP, they'd be at 107 million with 7 players under contract. Sign a bunch of scrubs to fill out the roster?

I get the appeal of the big trio but if they have no depth and James and CP are both getting up there in age.....is it worth it? CP got hurt....imagine if that happened next summer......James and Harden would be left to carry the team.

Depth is important in this League. And yes I realize teams shorten their rotations in the playoffs.....it just doesn't strike me as smart basketball.

With the way Houston played this season and series.....I'd re-sign Capela and add to the team....

The Warriors window is closing fast.

I think he is referring to The Decision.

Oh yeah.
Prob not his best idea, but personally im cool with anything that raises millions for kids.

Im also still waiting to see the first person raise their hand who will turn down millions to sit in a chair for 2 hours.

I generally agree with you. I don't think it is worth it for the Rockets but I get why some people might think it would be.

It's kinda like the scenarios of the Lakers getting Lebron and PG. They COULD do it but it would require bringing in a bunch of vet minimum players as well

Im from Cleveland, my wife Cuyahoga Falls.
I know the area, stadium very well.
Im going there next weekend.

Yeah I remember you mentioning you're from Cleveland & you're wife's from Cuyahoga Falls. I left before the new stadium was built. The Rubber Bowl was awful though. Have a good time when you go back.

It was a bad look. Especially when his choice really seemed to be something he made well beforehand.

Granted, Dan Gilbert saw Lebron make a bit of an ass of himself and decided that he wouldn't let Lebron take the title of biggest douche from him that easily and doubled down with The Letter.

No, the Lakers have space for 2 max FA's and wouldn't have to trade a bunch of guys to afford them. Plus, they have some promising youngsters.

They wouldn't have to add a bunch of minimum league guys. Just 4 or so. The Rockets would have to add 6-7, at least.

The Rockets would definitely need more players but they would have 3 All-Stars on their team.

The Lakers would have Lebron, PG, Ingram, Kuzma, Ball, Hart, Zubac. Innis and of course Deng.

I don't think Lebron really makes sense for either team to be honest.

Houston Rockets Team Payroll | Basketball-Reference.com

They are at 80 million right now without extending CP, Capela or offering James anything.

Let's say they trade Gordon's 13.5 mill contract to a team that can absorb his contract and send back very little....say they do the same with Ryan Anderson's 20 million contract.

They are at 47 mill with Harden, Tucker, Hilario, Onauka, and Oi under contract. Last 2 guys are bench fodder, weren't familiar with them when I did research for this post.

CP gets 30 million and let's say James signed for 30 million (a slight discount, something he's said he won't do). That's 107 million with 7 players under contract and you need another 6-7 players on the squad.
Hoping, wishing and praying this doesn't happen?...lol

Houston, Spurs.

I can't see him going to any other Team out West.

....and the Spurs go boom if they lose Kawhi.
