So the other day at work the discussion came up about how many Husker Football games my coworkers have missed in "real time" during their life time.
This means seeing it on tv, in person, or listening on the radio as it's happening. Watching a recording doesn't count.
I shit you not, I'm 31 years old and the first game I have any memory of at all was Colorado in 1988 when I was 3. I don't recall every game when I was that age, but I have never missed a single game in my life in real time since I was old enough to know what was going on. I was probably 5 years old before I started really understanding it.
Folks at work think there is something wrong with me. Maybe there is.
