QB A

Through 3 years

23-18
63.4%
86 QB rating
6.8 YPA
220 YPG

QB B

23-17
63.8%
91 QB rating
7.0 YPA
252 YPG

A is Trubisky
B is the closest comp i could find stat and results wise although Trubisky has a playoff appearance and the other didnt

Why are we not including Wentz's most recent season? It would seem like that is the most important towards what kind of a QB he is right now. Much more so than his rookie season. It seems like you're bending things a bit towards one side.

You're also being very selective in choosing not to show TD, TD%, INT, INT%, etc.

I mean, Brees first three years in a vacuum is a close comp to Trubs.

And Wentz's numbers since 2017 have still been good. These are the averages.

Accomplishments when the Eagles and Cowboys had starting QB's on rookie deals:

Super Bowl wins:
Eagles - 1
Cowboys - 0

Playoff wins:
Eagles - 4
Cowboys - 1

Playoff appearances:
Eagles - 3
Cowboys - 2

Long Live Jerrah!

How many super bowls does Jerrah have? Is it more than Eagles' shitty owner?

Yeah thanks to Jimmy Johnson. The Cowboys have been largely irrelevant since Jerrah took over final say in player personnel.

WRONG.

Dallas has a SB win, maybe two with a QB on a rookie contract playing in the game, the Eagles DO NOT.

Troy was on his rookie deal, and since Roger was on year 3 odds are he was too.

Now please be so kind and name your ONE Eagles QB who led the Eagles to a SB win.

Apologies. I wasn't going back 3 and 5 decades respectively.

Now do the accomplishments when the QB on the rookie deal was actually playing in those games

OK going back 5 years how many QBs under a rookie contract led the Eagles to a SB win?

None. Starter got injured, unfortunately. But the Eagles were able to take advantage of having the starter on a rookie deal and still walk away with a SB trophy.

You'll have to forgive me for not giving a shit who the starter was when the Eagles won the SB.

Then you’re original statement is beyond retarded, might as well just have brought team accomplishments over the last few years. Adding “ with qb on rookie contracts” is so irrelevant if this is your follow up.

I was comparing two teams who had QB's on rookie deals, and the teams accomplishments. Thought that was obvious.

I’m well aware, my point is because apparently you are having a hard time keeping up is: if you are comparing teams like that but the actual qb on the rookie contract didn’t actually contribute then it’s beyond stupid to bring up

Or...the Eagles were able to take advantage of having a starting QB on a rookie deal(despite him not starting the SB) and the Cowboys were not, despite being in the exact same situation.

Right that’s why I said it should have been mentioned as a team record through that time, adding the qb on the rookie contract is pointless because not everyone participated

I compared the teams and their situations. Eagles were able to take advantage of it, cowboys were not.
