How long does Philly stick with Wentz before going back to Foles?

Wentz's WRs this weekend suck. Absolutely suck (I'm assuming Agholar is out this week?)
What you aren't getting is when pointed out last year that Dak's week 1 starting WRs (not some random mid-year injury driven week) were Terrance Williams and Deonta Thompson (both out of the league for suckiness) these same people upset at this current point claimed that was a meaningless point last year. But now it matters? Plus last year Dak's TEs had a combined handful of NFL catches while the current Eagles TEs were called the best TE dup in the NFL. Sometimes perspective helps...

He has none.

Second and more importantly, it's as if you think this thread is actually about Philly going back to Foles from Wentz...

it's not

I never made one post to indicate that I thought this would ever happen. I'm just addressing the posters who continue to pimp Nick Foles. Again on 4 different occasions teams have moved in another direction because they didn't feel he was good enough to be their starter. The Rams were so convinced they paid HUGE draft capital to replace him. He goes to Jacksonville, gets hurt, then plays like a dog when he returned and is now on the bench and nobody wants to address what all this means.

He has changed teams 5 times in 6 years, that is the definition of a journeyman QB only this particular one has had a few spectacular runs. But that will never change the fact that these years can only be described as a journeyman QB who is probably on the move again.

One day you'll understand.

I doubt it. He's dug his heels in real good.

Maybe he's related to PE1.

nope. He’s just starved for attention. He comes here to “mock” the thread/ what people are saying but then just repeats the same thing over and over. Then when everyone moves on from him he reinitiates his “discussion” with the nonsense “I can’t believe...”

Here’s the REAL problem that you continually REFUSE to address: WHY do the Eagles have problems at wr? You attribute it to “bad luck” but it isn’t. When the eagles signed DJax you got all nostalgic and were touting how he’s gonna “go off”. Most of us were like uhmmm he’s on the wrong side of 30 and was hurt a lot LAST season. You dismissed it and called us trolls. DJax is hurt bc he’s OLD and broken. Jeffries is now entering that territory as well. In fact, the eagles went out and signed a bunch of guys on the wrong side of 30 with a history of injuries yet you are shocked that they are hurt now.

instead of being a fanboy why not put the responsibility for the injures where it should be... on the front office.

1 I didn’t call you trolls or fan boys for the Desean signing.

2 They signed one guy over 30, not a bunch

3 I agree that they probably should have went young at WR. They did use a 2nd on a possession type but this offense needs a field stretcher and they crapped out on Desean. They crapped out 3 straight times on older field stretchers so it is the FO mistake. If Desean did stay healthy he would have had a big impact but the have to get young talent at WR for Wentz. The current guys can NOT get separation and Alshon was either hurt all season or got fucking as slow as Witten over night

For the love of God at least attempt to recognize sarcasm and someone pointing out a ridiculous comment one fan base makes and throwing it back at them. Also, what about the best TE duo in the league as proclaimed by you? Do they not count? And stop pretending that your starting WRs for 13 games have been Ward and Arcega. God, you are such a drama queen.

Ooooh, it was sarcasm that Dallas leads the league in drops. Suuuuure

WRONG!! Check out the eagles FA signings. They signed more than one guy over 30.

Also, it is unrealistic to say “if Jackson had stayed healthy” yet you keep saying it. That just shows you continue to miss the point.

LOL that I'm still getting facepalms for correctly pointing out how Foles has been benched and his career can best be described as a journeyman with a few great moments.

Funny, I got absolutely ripped for calling Foles a journeyman. 5 teams in 6 years? Naaaaw, that’s not journeyman status is it @handicappers @dbldwn711

You honestly just don't get it, but that's OK. Merry Christmas

Oooh, I get it. The post was sarcasm and you actually think Dallas has a much better receiving crew. You were being sarcastic and actually were sticking up for the Eagles fans who think we have a terrible WR crew by putting up a post showing the Dallas receivers lead the league in drops. Got it!

I completely acknowledged that. I said it was stupid a lot of Cowboy fans were screaming for Dak to be benched early last year. QBs need playmakers. They got him one and instantly he looked really good. Philly has to get Wentz one. Wentz looked like a rookie with promise to a MVP when they got him some talent.

There’s TWO factors that make someone a journeyman. Play for several teams AND have mediocre talent. The term connotes a career back up. Foles is NOT a career back up. He’s a starter. He’s tied for the record of most TD passes in a game with 7 and easily could have had more but for sitting out the 4th quarter. He is a SB MVP and is the only player in football history to both throw and catch a TD pass in the SB. That’s not “mediocre”. It’s not my fault you don’t understand this despite it being explained over and over to you.

You said “a bunch” I think it was only one new one on the team... far from “a bunch”.

He’s on the bench in 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016. I think you’re confused

you want me to go back more then 5 years and 4 teams ago.
