John Schneider went through the same exact thing but what makes him better than Howie is his ability to hit in the draft.

I'm not saying Howie's a bad GM, he's good but not second. He built a SB winning team through FA and trades which is great, but at some point needs to draft better young talent to keep the ball rolling. FA and trades only last for so long.
