Yes you could. Just make a rule where the home team gets to say what team has the choice at kickoff. If it goes into overtime the team who didn't get first choice automatically gets to chose in OT.

For instance if home team calls for the ball at KO and the game goes into overtime the Visiors get first dibs with the ball. If home team relinquishes the right to the visitors and they get the ball the Home team gets first dibs in OT.

Here’s the backstory on that coin toss:

Slater (the guy calling the toss) ALWAYS calls “heads”. The pats had been on a losing streak with the toss. So much in fact that McCourty (the guy next to Slater) had spoken to Slater before the SB about going with “tails” just to try and mix it up. Slater said “fuck that” we are sticking with heads.

The Pats walk out to the coin toss to open the game and Slater calls heads. It was tails and the falcons won the toss. Before they went out for the toss in OT McCourty was tempted to talk to Slater but didn’t. If you watch the video closely you can see Slater very emphatically say “HEADS” and McCourty just rolls his eyes. When it lands “heads” McCourty is speechless and stunned! He was shaking his head in disbelief as he walked away.

Afterwards, when asked about it Slater just said “I was sticking with “heads” all those weeks even though we were losing the toss bc I just knew it would be right when we REALLY needed it.

Seats in the stadium are not enough. Most can't afford the seats, somehow you have to have a way for idiots to be "meaningful" That is your proper place in football - a meaningful seat occupying idiot. Oh, wait" you can't afford a seat? Does not matter, you'll always be an idiot!!!!!

Every play starts with the center, sowhether the team plays flag football or tackle, it's vital to build the center's confidence and skills so the ball is properly delivered. ... That means making sure the center doesn't release the ball above the knees. The higher the release, the higher the snap gets to the quarterback.

Now factor in weather. Try snapping a wet football or rock hard football bc it’s cold out perfectly all day. Also, what about if the QB has an injured hand. Receiving the snap becomes an issue.

Lastly, if it’s “not important” and “easy” why will you routinely see centers and QBs practicing it on the sidelines during a game?
