How long does Philly stick with Wentz before going back to Foles?

It’s a joke dude. Have you asked any of them who they think they should keep? How do you know they have more trust in Foles. The shrine was a joke from one of the nuttier players on the Eagles (Lane Johnson)... who by the way was pissed he didn’t make the pro bowl and absolutely dominated JJ Watt yesterday

Actually there were some rumblings after the Rams game some players more in favor of Foles cause of him getting rid of the ball quicker, taking less sacks and not just keying up on one guy. I don't believe Wentz has lost the locker room but his injuries made him incapable of playing at a high level and Foles being healthy and making better passes and decisions seems to have brought the energy back to the team.

But @PhoenixEagles1 told me that Wentz was getting sacked because the o-line sucked!! He didn’t say shit about holding onto the ball to long

The o-line has regressed and got old quickly but everyone who watches knows Wentz holds onto the ball too long. Could be cause of his injuries and not being able to scan the field quick enough but complete night and day difference from last year to this year. Next year fully healthy will be the telling tale.

well seems all the sites are a bit different, but one I looked at has you 15.67 mil over the cap for 2019 with 44 signed. your dead cap space is like 2 mil so that is good. Now when you get rid of Foles your dead cap space will be closer to 4 mil but you will save 18.8 mil. Not a lot of room to pay the rest of team & deal with major contracts without kicking a can down the road some.

Good points, but you factor in the Foles situation and you’re right that it frees up a bunch of crap space. Aside from that, you’ve got Peters as a possible cap savings situation and I believe none of jernigan’s is guaranteed though the various sites say differently.

I’m not saying the cap situation is great...I just don’t see it as dire.

no. we have had to deal with making way more cap room, but it usually does hinder signing big contracts. If you do. You are normally kicking the can down the road on one of your other big contract players.
I wouldnt call the eagles situation dire either. Definitely dont miss being in the situation however.

I agree dire is a bit strong but they don’t have a lot of flexibility and they have some big contracts coming up. They will not be big players in the upcoming FA market

I totally agree he’s been a spark and everyone is playing better rallying around Foles. It’s been fun to watch.

The way Avonte Maddox has been playing we can save another 6.5 million getting rid of our FS. He’s been really good and looking like a real find in the 4th round.

Lol at PE1 disappearing once he go his dick kicked in.

Sorry I chose my family over you on Christmas Eve. Next year I’ll tell them I can’t have dinner with the family because I have to bring up posts proving you were wrong and still not admitting to it. Deal?

I’d call it dire. Colts have 123 million in cap space, Rams are listed as 17th in cap space with 37 million, Vikings are 30th in cap space with 11 million. So actually being in the hole for cap space is horrible.

In American English, a journeyman or journeywoman is an athlete who is technically competent but unable to excel.

Foles has defiantly excelled

Journeyman means they went from Philly on a journey to the Rams then on a journey to the Chiefs, then on a journey to Philly then on another journey to...

So if a player is technically competent but unable to excel and plays for the same team for 15 years I can call them a journeyman using your definition. Sorry dude

Sure just twist the definition so it fits what you want. Thats what you do with everything else so its not surprising

Don’t say “I totally agree” and then change what he said. He hasn’t been a “spark”. He’s playing better... much better.

“Unable to excel”... he was the SB MVP!! That’s not a “journeyman”.

I prove PE1 wrong, kick his dick in again, and all the sudden he’s got an illegal immigrant dinner to attend. Seems legit.

Ya gotta love this guy. Wentz throws for 300 yards in a game and @PhoenixEagles1 says that’s evidence of him being a phenomenal superstar who is a franchise QB. Foles comes in and sets an ALL TIME EAGLES RECORD for passing yards and he’s “hot” or he’s “providing a spark”.

Haha

Hi Handi... Merry Christmas. It’s funny how we always seem to end up in here at the same weird times. Quite a coincidence wouldn’t you say?
