How long does Philly stick with Wentz before going back to Foles?

Damn you are so dense.
Everytime you want to make a point for yourself you use the best player at QB, WR , or whatever.

Furthermore. The best WR vs. good WR is a huge difference. (same with QB & other diva positions)
The very best Center vs. a good center isnt as big of a difference.

When talking importance of positions you are not talking players.

Here are some facts.
Teams have been successful with a good QB (pretty hard though I admit)
Teams have done it without RB, without WRs etc...

You want success you win the trenches.

Without a good center you dont have a good O-line "unit" Just the way it is.

With higher end QBs. how do you get to them, to get them off their game? Up the middle!!! If that is happening, you will kinda wish you had a good center.
If your Qb is getting less than 2 sec. to throw does it really matter how good their #1 receiver is? if your center isnt understanding the game. It will affect your running game as well.

Sounds like pretty important position to me.
As I remind you. you were saying it was one of the least important positions in football. Now if their other posters that agree with you on this. I dont want to single just you out. They are fucking stupid as well!
It might be one of the most thankless jobs, which all the stat warriors cant see on paper, but I assure you it is a "very" important position.

Here’s my favorite argument of them all. Some fat, unathletic kid tries out for the football team. You know damn well we’re they are putting this pimple faced oaf.
Every position is very important. Imagine losing game after game cause your kicker missed every FG or your long snapper chucks the ball over the punters head time after time. It would be very important to fix that position. You fixing that with a top 5 pick... nope. Wanna know why? Cause QB, LT, DE, CB, WR1 is much more important then C

because obviously theres more to it than that.

more pass rushers are drafted early than qb's therefore they are more important. correct

No, you don’t need 5-6 QBs on your team.

the draft argument is null and void the minute that u acknowledged that pass rushers arent more important the qb's

Because as you state, there are other factors determining where and how many of a position get drafted.......

its as simple as that. If you believe centers are the least important position, find and argument that holds up

nope it happens like that because the difference between great & good of those positions. Finding a Peyton manning player at QB is about once in a generation thing. Building a high end Center isnt a once in a generation thing.
Again judging players is apples & oranges to importance of the position.

This is like buying a bunch of fancy parts to put in a race car & forgetting to put oil in the motor. Without that none of the rest even matters.

He talks about the Patriots and the center position. The pats have had great consistency at that position. The guy who was there before the current center had a very promising career cut short by concussions. I’m pretty sure the current center for the patriots is a captain. Yeah... I’d say having a good center is a key to success no matter where they are drafted.

So true. I've seen first hand with the Hawks what a poor C can do to the line. Not very good to horrifying.

Yes. Helped the Saints hurt the Hawks

A Center AND a first round pick. The Bears just gave up 2 firsts for a DE. The Eagles, Bears and Rams gave up a shit ton to go grab a QB. Wonder why people NEVER trade 2 firsts or even one first for a Center. What if Seattle gave up two firsts for a healthy Fredricks... you’d be pumped, right

He was an all pro center... that’s worth MORE than a first round pick.

Uhm... they had an all pro center (the exact one I’m talking about) when they won that SB.

They did? Who? And they traded away an All Pro Center AND a 1st round pick for a TE. Wow, guess they didn’t value All Pro Centers much

Wow... you’re incredible. Tell me again how “objective” you are. You will go to any lengths to continue your narrative or admit you were wrong.

Not even close. They had a very good o-line when they went back to back SB's. Running was tops in the league.

Yes... Paul McQuistan, James Carpenter, JR Sweezy and Breno Giacomini are all first ballot HOF'ers
