I haven't posted yet this year (life is much bussier than in the past), but I felt so strongly about the above statement that I had to log in to vent.

This bag of crap should never see the mound again in a Ranger uniform.

Have gotten accustomed to using MLB team sites (or MiLB site for players in the minors) to check transactions and 40-man/25-man rosters. Have found ESPN to sometimes be a day behind and often don't catch STATUS changes.

The kid has talent but is over his head right now, needs to work on his changeup and developing a fastball that has some sort of movement

He's not pitching much worse, if at all, than Derek Holland did in his first go round, or Matt Harrison for that matter

So cool your jets, he should be in AAA tomorrow though (but not necessarily will be)

The weakness of our starting pitchers and consequently over-worked bullpen has become obvious to even a casual fan. Our lack of a power bat has also been exposed. I think this team needs more than one move before the deadline if they want to win this year. Otherwise, we're playing for next year and so let the young guys play. Which is it, JD?
