Grimm just isn't big league caliber. His stuff isn't great and without injuries there is no way he's in the rotation right now. With Tepesch hurt now and Yu so obviously not the ace we all hoped he would be, my guess is JD is calling the Phillies as we speak. This team needs SP in the worst way and there are no guarantees that Ogando, Lewis or even Harrison come back and solidly contribute.

I wouldn't get my hopes up for Lee, unlikely we part with prospects for him, and that's probably the right call considering Lee's age....if they are even dealing which I highly doubt

He looked good when he first came back and was striking out less, now he's struggling again

Yes it is. And I really am not that disappointed with Grimm and Tepesch. They frustrate me at times and both need more development but they have kept us in there for the most part. We're only 0.5 games back and only Grimm was slated to be here when we broke camp. And that was as the fifth starter.

So I think JD is doing some soul searching right now.
