I didn't realize a trailer could be age restricted, but that seems to be the case with Terrifier 3. It's interesting to see this franchise with a theatrical release and the budget that comes with it. The picture definitely looks more refined than the first two films, which were done on very small budgets.

Edit: This is a new trailer from the one I missed earlier in the thread.

Watched Strange Darling (2023) over the weekend.

Simple, low-budget, but effective slasher thriller. Decent plot twists & good acting make it very worth the watch. Would recommend.

If it's a red band trailer they usually verify your age to make sure you're capable of seeing what theyre showing.

The Nightmare marathon is on AMC all day and for whatever reason they have them on backwards. At least they're getting the worst ones out of the way first (here's looking at you, Dream Child).

Saw Terrifier 3 last night.

The crowd was a little larger than I expected, given there wasn't a ton of mainstream promotion and the prior films are not widely known.

Some people walked out during certain scenes. The producers definitely didn't hold back and took advantage of the higher budget.

I still prefer the first film. The expansion of the lore of Art in the last two films just doesn't make much sense and affects the pacing too much, distracting from what the audience wants to see.

With that being said, it's fun watching Art do his thing on the big screen.

Despite some of the issues with the direction and writing, If you liked the first two, you'll like this.

Wife's grandkids came over yesterday.

2.5yo Demetrius sitting next to me on the leather sofa and looks at me and says, "D-pa, monsters under the bed." Threw me a little because it came out of nowhere.

I had some beer while watching college football so I say, "Okay."

He gets up and looks behind the couch.

"D-pa, monsters under the couch."

I'm a little buzzed now and say, "Let's get them."

He smiles and we start beating the bottom of the couch where the footrest is when you pull the lever on the side of the couch.

Good times. He was laughing like crazy and gave me a bunch of high 5's.

Come to find out the little tyke been watching scary movies with 8yo Amiya on her cell. LOL.

That's awesome. Reminds me of my eldest when he was around 3 near Halloween 5 years ago. He did a similar thing about thinking a boogeyman was in his closet. I told my son I'm the only person allowed to scare anyone in my house so I'd deal with it personally... I put on my Michael Myers mask and went into his closet & started throwing fists around throwing all his clothes on hangers all over the place lol. He laughed so hard he cried. And that was the last I ever heard of the boogeyman.
Have you folks heard about this new horror series............Teacup?
Nope. But I'm all ears

I was pretty buzzed when I dropped to the floor and started hitting the footrest.....he followed my lead......

We were laughing our asses off and having a good old time.

Watched Terrifier 1 and 2 the past couple of nights. I enjoyed both for what they are and liked two a bit better, mainly I think because there was more character development. Will definitely watch 3 at some point.
