I think Prime tops it just on sheer volume. The hard thing is being able to sift through it to find what you want.Just watched The Lodgers. Definitely had the creepy factor but fell short on full on scares/plot. Not a bad movie but thought they could have knocked it out of the park.
Also re-Shudder, if it's still around in a year or so I may give it another go but there just wasn't enough content. They only had a handful of originals (which were good) and then nothing but 80s slashers (which I love but not enough to pay $5 a month). If they can expand their library and really focus on pumping out original series I think it would be worth it.
As of now Netflix still is the best streaming service for horror.

Yeah, I use justwatch.com to try and filter through their catalog, but even then, it's not a perfect method (and not always 100% right, could be a different title of the same name, not often, but sometimes). From there, I have no idea how they pick the order the titles come up. If I look up netflix horror there, easy enough to scroll through (they show 297), if I go to Prime, 4,114 at the moment. I'm pretty sure they have some type of popularity metrics, but I've seen some gems way down the list that surprises from time to time. That said, if I sign on and if it's in my recommendations based off of what I watched, I have no problem giving some $1k piece of garbage a try if i'm a bit out of it. Never know what you might find.Prime is really good but their interface is horrific.
I really don’t understand how after this many years the Prime interface is still just as bad as it was when it first started... Outside of providing good material they put almost zero effort into their apps.Prime is really good but their interface is horrific.
I think it has to do with the fact they're not just a service that provides these x videos if you subscribe to prime and want to show what other services, rentals, options to buy, etc... and haven't figured out the best way to go about that or maybe they did.I really don’t understand how after this many years the Prime interface is still just as bad as it was when it first started... I don't understand how they even come up with the rental pricing... Like you can find a brand new DVD release on there to rent for $3-10... But then you try to watch a shitty-lookin Kevin Bacon film and its $20...It's annoying....
And then eventually finding something only to realize it's for rent? Even more annoying.

Nope.I don't know that I've ever seen a rental go over $5, maybe $6, depending on format/resolution/quality.... are you confusing the 'buy' option?

What in the actual fuck?!?!Nope.
PronHub
What apps do you have? Cinema, Zion, ?
The main app is White Glove Entertainment that has all the live tv, sports packages, PPV, HBO and it also updates new movies/tv shows.
Also, a ton of other apps I have yet to explore, Zion is one of them. Had Cyberflix but that one was updated but I forget the name of the new one. Cinema is on there but haven't looked at that much. Also have Netflix and Hulu which we use often as well.
Word. Prime be on some bullshit with that one. What in the actual fuck?!?!
This is my only explanation as well. Is what it is. Maybe someday they'll give it a facelift. But for now I'm just happy they keep feeding us new content regularly.I think it is as simple as they don't care... And why would they?? Most customers pay for prime membership for the free shipping... not the Streaming platform... The streaming platform is a bonus to all customers... It really is not even competing with any other service, because most people have it already...
