I think the deal with Williams is that we have a few LH hitting OFers. Jake Thompson may be good but we really do not know that for sure as he has been up and down in his starts this year. We supposedly were loaded at the catching position about 6-7 years or so ago and we saw how that panned out so who knows how Alfaro turns out and the others I say whatever. Any trade is always a risk let's just hope this risk returns a reward.

Yes we are heavy with LHB in the minors so we knew we were gonna lose this and another pitcher plus an add on top tier guy. Probably Alfaro was the least from a risk standpoint although if he improves it could bite.

I do not think JD is on the hook. He is the one that loaded the farm and he will do it again

It is kind of funny that guys defects are exposed as they move up level to level. Hope Gallo learns how to lessen the strikeouts and Chi Chi gets that put away pitch but we got a number one starter. Good day for the Rangers

The more I think about it, JD getting Amaro to take Harry and his salary, and include cash for Hamels was fucking genius. It was basically a give the JT for Harry's contract deal. That tilts the deal in our favor IMO.
