I'm only upset about including Thompson & Alfaro in the deal, but Thompson is the part that put it into the potentially bad deal category for me

Williams' plate discipline will always be an issue, I liked him, but rather have Mazara
You didn't think Williams' plate discipline improved enough this season?

Yes, I would much rather have Mazara as well.

Looks like Phils bought Jake for Matts salary. Hopefully $ will be good to get more talent. Carlos Gomez still on the board

It did, but its still pretty bad and he'll only get more exposed as he advances

If Hamels gets hurts or otherwise flames out then JD can be launched into the stratosphere. This is his last shot with me. Shit better work out for the steep price.

Only thing I can figure is JD must be planning to dump Choo and his salary and that's why he needed to get Philly to include 76 mil. Funny, because Choo is actually looking like he gives a shit lately.

This is the tipping point for JD with me. Like I said, this is a potential career ender.

Gallo actually will walk 50+ times a season right now, Williams would be lucky to hit 30 walks

I actually believe Gallo will be fine. Just hate seeing him continue to put up such bad numbers after being sent to RR, but he's always struggled when promoted and then adjusted.

Nick Williams has Domonic Brown written all over him,

If anyone expected him to be much more than a .250 hitter in the majors was fooling themselves

My hope was .260 with a .325-.330 OBP. Include 40+ bombs and 60+ doubles and I'm happy as a clam.
