Who is going back to Philly? I don't feel like looking it up cause I'm in the dugout at my baseball game and on my phone?
Thompson, Alfaro, Williams, Eickoff, Asher & Harrison

I think too many folks are pinning too much on a pitcher who currently is 29th in ERA in 2 of the past 3 seasons in the National League. Besides, I believe you said you didn't care for the deal earlier yourself didn't you?True, but you do pin too much on prospects IMO.

In one tweet: Hamels ($76M), Diekman, cash to Rangers. Alfaro, N. Williams, J. Thompson, M. Harrison ($28M), Eickhoff, Asher to Phillies.

The Houston #Astros had put together a strong package #Phillies Cole Hamels, but he exercised his no-trade rights, and ends up w #Rangers.

Ortiz is at least 2 years away don't you think. He isn't even going to get a full year in at Hickory this year.I hope Grant is wrong. The only top pitching prospects were keeping that are remotely close to ML ready are Chi Chi and Ortiz.
Throwing in Thompson and Harrison makes me cringe some at that.

I like Williams but sated of Alfaro being able to stay at C. I didn't want to include JT, Gallo, or Mazara, or Chi Chi. Don't really care about Asher or Eickoff. It sucks to see them go but:
Yu
Hamels
Holland
Perez
Chi Chi/JT sounds very nice
I don't trust him any longer. We have been drifting since 2012(maybe even earlier) ended and he has used up all of the good will he earned prior to our WS runs in my opinion. He will have to win me back over.I'm glad they're eating so much salary, but I'm not happy with this at all. I've just got to trust JD has a plan, but I'm sure not seeing it.

Nope. That isn't it at all.So because of a couple of moves that didn't pan out, and some bad luck you're out on JD? GTFO with that nonsense.
A lot of prospects don't pan out. I don't think the Philles will win several World Series because of this deal, but you never know.
