yea when I saw that on live TV I kinda felt bad for the hitter.

But that's the way the game is played. The umpire is a wild card. You can't leave the games decision up to them.

Robo umps and hitter / catcher challenges will be here in the Bigs in the next 2-3 years.

Not the guy we thought we were getting from Cincy. At times he has looked like King Felix while other times he has looked like Court Jester Carlos Silva...just kidding. Not that bad, but he he goes from Ace to #3 week to week.

Castillo has been frustrating at times but I think he's putting a lot of pressure to make the perfect pitch for outs knowing the offense usually struggles and can't score. Going into last night he had a 4-6 record with a sub 3 era.

And you could be right. How many years did we watch Felix do that? So ya I agree. His stuff is Ace level, but he just hasn't been as sharp. Angie even said during his game that it just needs to throw in and not nibble because his stuff is good enough and she was right.

I tried to look up his pitch counts but it doesn't list them.

In that year, he gave up 4 runs twice the entire year. 3 or less in his 32 other starts. Just amazing.
