Yea a surprising series win over a team that has pretty much dominated everyone up to this point.

Time will tell if this is the catalyst they need ( They really need BATS ) but some confidence and momentum goes a long way in a struggling clubhouse just prior to the last road trip of the 1st half. And it's a west coast swing so no Ambien CR needed.

I am happy for Tommy Boy. He has had some bad injury luck the last couple years but seems like a real glue guy.

Cal doesn't seem to get the same crap that Zunino did but both are equal to me. I like Cal, but I think this is what he is.

Ya I know for a fact they backed Ichiro. That is modern sports I guess. I am old school so it bothers me to a point, but he was the greatest hitter of my time so...

You know I am massively bias on it because Ichiro got Dan Rohn fired but they did also force Ichiro out of RF which ironically Ichiro not moving cost them Choo and him moving cost them Adam Jones.

Without question the front office messed up bad, but I wouldn’t say they backed Ichiro 100%. I think they honestly tried splitting the baby on the Ichiro/Hargrove problem instead of being leaders and it backfired spectacularly cause Hargrove still ended up quitting and the clubhouse was toxic with Ichiro until Junior came back.

Agreed he was the greatest hitter in M's history but that's how club houses fall apart when star player receives special treatment from FO and handcuffs the manager. I believe Tampa recently benched Franco for 2 games for reasons I forget but point is the FO backed the managers decision.
