To be fair, the Mariners have traded a lot their international guys under Dipoto like Lopez and Peralta.Yet some teams roll out international players year after year (Houston) while Seattle gets one per decade. I think there is more tan guessing going on.
Especially coming off of an off day. I get Garver catches Kirby and they can’t risk both of them in the lineup but just seems weird they’ll run Cal into the ground when they had no off days5K's? That doesn't scare Servais off, but 2 HR's and you are out of the lineup.
I 100% agree on giving him a shot. Jerry hit on Robles so might as well try again. The Dodgers cut Amed Rosario yesterday. Crazy. For the season through 287 plate appearances, the guy is slashing .305/.331/.415/.746. A .746 OPS would put him second on our team behind only Cal Raleigh (excluding new comers to the starting lineup - Arozarena, Robles). Hard to believe there is not room for him on our team when our middle infield corps consist of Rivas, Bliss, Polanco, Moore, and Crawford.
Yep. Why not. Jerry doesn't hit on much of anything except a hash pipe.I 100% agree on giving him a shot. Jerry hit on Robles so might as well try again.
I guess I look at those as misses because you don't trade guys you think you hit on. At least it isn't good business especially for the return we get back.To be fair, the Mariners have traded a lot their international guys under Dipoto like Lopez and Peralta.
