Offensively I don’t think it is arguable. It is just really smart to resign him. Dude loves the ballpark and doesn’t have a problem hitting there. The money honestly isn’t that bad if he flames out and becomes a 4th OF.Definitely deserving of one... He's arguably been our best player since joining the team...
What did he really do? Don’t the Mariners have a pretty good international staff? I guess I don’t know cause I truly don’t understand the whole international prospect stuff worksJerry would never do it, but a guy they could use in the front office.
I have noticed that media guys use.some stuff. from our conversations .I wonder if Softy got that from me. I was the first in his tweets that brought that up. He still owes me for the tweet back in the day where I brought up sacrificing the Moose.
Such a wasteThey. Won't.cuz..he was a free agent ..
That they paid 25 mil .
You never have enough of these good guys. International players is where it is at. We have done well prospect wise, but outside Julio no many of contributing with us under Dipoto that I can think of.What did he really do? Don’t the Mariners have a pretty good international staff? Had a chance at Ohtani but FO fell about 500million shortYou never have enough of these good guys. International players is where it is at. We have done well prospect wise, but outside Julio no many of contributing with us under Dipoto that I can think of.
Well recently the M’s have gotten quite a few guys who are “highly touted”. Not against it at all, that whole process is over my head cause isn’t it basically gambling on which 14 year DR kid you get into your academy down there? You never have enough of these good guys. Well and by all accounts Jerry was as the kids say too thirsty when it came to Ohtani the first go around. There wasn’t a chance they could’ve gotten him this go around even if they matched the Dodgers.Had a chance at Ohtani but FO fell about 500million short
Yet some teams roll out international players year after year (Houston) while Seattle gets one per decade. I think there is more tan guessing going on.Well recently the M’s have gotten quite a few guys who are “highly touted”. there is room,..ya have to make room...The Dodgers cut Amed Rosario yesterday. Crazy. For the season through 287 plate appearances, the guy is slashing .305/.331/.415/.746. A .746 OPS would put him second on our team behind only Cal Raleigh (excluding new comers to the starting lineup - Arozarena, Robles). Hard to believe there is not room for him on our team when our middle infield corps consist of Rivas, Bliss, Polanco, Moore, and Crawford.
He also plays RF and hits both left-handed and right-handed pitching better than Haniger and has a higher fielding percentage in RF than Haniger.there is room,..ya have to make room...
for a team .that needs offence,...
that room..would come..
with .
canzone down...220.hitter..
he's doing well...
but not .hitting.305...
it's a playoff..run...or.not..
rosario..could make just enough ..of a difference,
so if..they have .the oppertunity...
they.should....mariners.are.not...
1st...on the waver..wire .list.
