If they played like that against Detroit, it would be two straight series sweeps.
remember that' .hernandez ...
that caused..Taylor..up..
so ....
it's a good thing..Taylor..did ok in his.
debut...
not exactly high..leaverage.
cuz of the score...but the 8th.inning..
so that normally is

it was ..the adjustments that needed.
to be made after the deadline .

Not only did he strike out five times but his swing and miss ratio is off the chart.

he just doesn’t even get a piece of the baseball hardly ever.

Every single swing he takes is for the fences. irregardless of the count, irregardless of the situation and irregardless of the location of the pitch.

That is just simply not a proven approach to be successful at the plate.
He honestly should go down to AAA for a week or so so he can gain some confidence and figure a few things out... We can't afford for him to figure things out when we're in a pennant race... We're better off with out him if he's just going to strike out at an alarming rate...

Hopefully he’s just wanting to get out there and help the team, hopefully that’s where he is mentally and what he’s thinking … On the flip side he can hurt the team trying to come back too quickly ..
Agreed, but why the urgency last night vs any other night? Sunday Night Baseball. And that is what bothers me. Could be wrong, but it sounded like he wanted a national audience. I mean anyone that makes Garver look like an All-Star should not put himself out there.

Rivas was good...and got a hit....

it matters.,..

Taylor not much to..say in his debut..
but
that's a good thing ..

I agree that he needs to drop down, but I think AAA is a bit harsh and not likely. He seems to respond to a drop in the order every time it has happened, the problem is that Servais sees one good outing and he is immediately shot back up in the order. Scott is not likely to pull his head out of his ass so a drop in the order would be a short term adjustment. If it were up to me I drop him down and leave him there for a few weeks and truly make him earn his way back up. Other guys are performing so a hot Julio in the 6 or 7 hole will have it's benefits as well. Something has to happen cause he is a black hole in an important spot in the lineup right now.

Agree, plus it is a lot better for him to DH in AAA than on the big club. In the minors I think he could dog it on a ground ball, I don’t think he would know how on the Mariners.

It isn’t necessarily harsh. Not sure on the rules about rehab stints. But after one game and he is still clearly injured it seems to me that at least he should be able to. Do think it was foolish not give him a rehab stint.

if it drives his ave down..
then we may be better off ..
with canzone ..

but I think .it's an offseason issue...
to be dealt with ..
and they can just .deal.
with it day to day .
for know .
being.in the line up.
is not guaranteed .
for Julio...till..his ankle is better ...

he is still better than garver..

so let's see ..how he does .
while.mariners play.detroit..

Worth a shot unless we are all convinced on Rivas
I'm ok with it .he's a 2b..you would have.
to send down Rivas or bliss...
or.
both with Crawford back.

simple..Rivas and bliss..down.
and you have.
an older MLB..roster..for the playoffs.
traded from Tampa .
to dodgers .
and they dfa.. him...what are they thinking..
