Nothing Big Bear about the SEC. They are, and have always been a 1 and a half Trick Pony conference. Kentucky and sometimes one other random SEC team that do well, the rest SUCKING. On rare occasions a 3rd team does well, but it's rare.

SEC fans wanting to feel proud of their conference as a whole, should stick to Football and what? Baseball maybe, or Women's Gymnastics or something?

When did I ever say such a thing? Elite 8 maybe, but that has more to do with the weakness of Virginia than the strength of Wisconsin.

I am happy with the season after last year . Good bounce back . Look forward to having everyone back and adding 4 key pieces . Depth should be crazy next year . One more off-season of hard work from the seniors to be and Iowa has a real chance to be playing in April next year

Minnesota fan fan sucking off Iowa is glorious. For what it's worth I hope the other 3 SEC teams, in the sweet 16, lose by a hundred.

Oh give me a break. All that said was that they had an outside shot of getting there. Some teams simply don't have a shot, others do. But only a few have a good shot. I didn't say Wisconsin had a good shot. But looking at their Kenpom ratings, and how they did vs high caliber opponents, yes, they had a F4 run in them. As does 2 dozen other schools.

And who was between them and the FF? A Pac team, a Virginia team who lost in the 1st round last year, an SEC team not named Kentucky or maybe a Purdue team that my Gophers beat twice.

The Virginia team that lost in the first round last year, HAD A FF run in them, too. Wanna deny that?
