Mooch was absolutely awful here. People like to use Joey as his scapegoat, but he did a terrible job. Piss poor game manager, and his schemes were painfully conservative/predictable on both sides of the ball. Then he completely lost the team at the end. Millen had no choice but to fire him.

So youre saying a guy who took the niners to the playoffs 4/6 years. Had 13,12,12,10 win seasons, came here and forgot how to coach?
That's comical. Noone could have won with that garbage team. As a matter of fact, Marinelli came to right that ship and only won 3 games. Rebounded to 7-9...and then won zero games.

I wasn't unhappy w the Rogers pick but I really wanted Andre Johnson a lot more. Bigger, stronger, came from Miami. Millen went uber homer taking Charles trying to win over the fans w a hometown kid.
