On Thursday he went 6 for 6 with 3 home runs, 10 rbis, 2 stolen bases, and 17 total bases. I doubt anyone has ever had a day like that.

Here's more:

According to OptaSTATS, no player since 1920 has ever had a 10-RBI day, a six-hit day, a five extra-base hit day, a three-homer day, and a multi-steal day within their career. Ohtani crammed all that production into a single Thursday afternoon during a 20-4 thrashing of the Marlins.

If I remember correctly I hit 3 homers in little league (not over the fence) one game. One was a grand slam. I'm sure I stole a couple of bases, the catchers couldn't catch. I could walk to 2nd base, 3rd and home.

Sit on the floor Ohtani, this chair is for me

When I heard that Ohtani did in one game what no other ML player had done in their entire career, my jaw dropped. Then when you add in him getting 50/50 and it's pretty unbelievable.

I wonder when the fans realized what they were watching...

I was at Dodger Stadium when Fernando Tatis hit his two grand slams in the same inning... The whole place instantly got eerily quiet, like we just entered the Twilight Zone - everyone just started looking around, double checking the score board, wondering if that ever happened before...

How many Marlin's fans left early? Did they realize in the 9th inning what just happened?
