They did have to sign kris bosh to the highest contract in the nba

Opps

:yahoo:

:pound:

Bosh will be making like 25M a year in the last 2 years of his deal while he is in his mid thirties- and he is afraid of contact now in year 1...the new cap at that time will mitigate that damage though

The PG upgrade is a problem. I am not sure of the solution.. because what do we have to offer? We cant lose Deng. Ennis has just been a bust. I mean Cole and some draft picks for an expiring contract? Don't know. We should have got DJ Augustine.

The Lakers will trade you Jeremy Lin for Hassan Whiteside.

Afraid of contact?
Learn the game.
Learn the players strengths before you say something that incorrect.

Bosh's SKILLSET is better suited to take advantage of his quickness and shooting skills, not try to wrestle under the basket.

He can play like that for many more years.

whoa whoa whoa

20ppg? lol

there are currently (i think) 4 guys in the league that are 20 and 10- Davis, Cousins, Aldridge, Griffin.

cmon man....you are embarrassing yourself

Blake isn't sniffing 10 boards a game.

He's at an embarrassing 7.5 per game.

I guess he figures that's DeAndre's job now :L

He's still a very good player.

I'd be worried if we were talking about Joe Johnson.

Maybe they can get to .500 now?

Why don't you just focus on winning one championship? You have Mr. James for 7 years and now in year 8 and all you have thus far is an NBA final's sweep. Be glad we thought your boy how to win.

First off...get your list right before you say I am embarrassing myself. Secondly, who said 20/10? Dont put words in my mouth. I said if he improved his offensive game and free throw shooting, he could get to 20 ppg. That's all. I know ..a real shocking prediction... If he get's better on offense his ppg will go up.

What adjustment is there to make that doesn't benefit the Heat?

There's no adjustment you can make for guys who are solid rebounders and get junk baskets from ally oops or grabbing a offensive rebound and dunking.

As for his blocking the only adjustment you can make is stop testing Whiteside which means opponents would settle for more contested jumpshots which only helps the heat

The league adjustment is legit. But he is still a 7 footer with long arms. That's uncoachable. He will still be a shot blocker and good rebounder. The kid needs to develop a low post game and work on his free throws. Otherwise he will be wildly inconsistent on the offensive end of the floor.

You can't teach shot blocking or rebounding.

You either have or you don't.

Simple as that

absolutely. let him get around the league one time- and have teams go from having no respect for some undrafted street player- to a guy they have to pay attention to and has some skills- and we will see what that looks like.

No matter what the league does he will be a shot blocker and good rebounder. Miami doesn't run plays for the guy on offense, he gets all his points on garbage/putbacks/lobs. Which is fine. But it is also why I hope Zo and Bob McAdoo are working with this kid at practices and big time this offseason to get him some low post game.

i would tend to agree.

Its just an interesting case to follow since we do not see it that often.

have u seen the Cavs play during this winning streak? its only a 6 game winning streak right now- but 3 of those teams were the Clips, Thunder and Bulls....and Mozgov and Smith have looked like great additions
