We beat #19 Oregon
We beat #12 Michigan, on the road, in epic fashion, when no one gave us a chance
We beat #4 Ohio State, on the road, without our starting quarterback, when no one gave us a chance, to win the division
We beat #9 Iowa, with a 9 minute, 22 play drive, to win the conference (something Michigan hasn't done in over a decade)
Make the playoffs and get American History X'd by Alabama and finish with our third straight top 6 finish.

Maybe in their evaluations Weaver is a better prospect than Swenson? I mean they have the ability to watch those kids play, we don't, we just go off of star rankings.

Nationally ranked 325 by Composite and 585 by 247, so that 4 star 250 prospect seems questionable

Actually, Michigan State and michigan are 8-8 head to head in the 2000s. Both MSU and OSU have an argument in recent history though, as I pointed out. If you wanna thump your chest over games played with players that are on now social security, I guess that's what you gotta do.

Personally, doesn't matter to me. All the winningest programs do it. Schools pay coaches millions to field the best teams, not appease to the masses. With that said, I think it will come out in the wash that this kid did something on his own that put him in this unfortunate situation. His little comment abou it came off kind of suspicious. Anytime someone says "...but God had other plans..." there's usually some skeletons in that closet.

Maybe so, but I don't think I've ever seen a top 10 ranked at their position 4* player that was dropped 2 weeks before signing day without something clearly indicating there was trouble (arrest, racist rant, academic fraud, PED's/drug use, etc.). I'm sure there must be other programs that have done it, but I just have never seen it happen to such a highly rated recruit.

There are always two sides to every story, so I'll wait till then. Hopefully we see Harbaugh reel in another highly rated recruit in place of this kid!

No, it's not. You're right there. It was basically just michigan beating up Michigan State until Dantonio got there, and since then MSU is 7-2 in the series, which is definitely domination.

Yes, but as I've mentioned, most teams have a similar record against us in the same span (except Notre Dame) because we've been terrible. I look forward to Harbaugh putting MSU back in it's place within the conference, which will happen.

except none of that is true. Kid is not top 10. He rankings have dropped a bunch this this year.
