can't help but think this is one of those situations where Shanahan felt if he didn't hand out something, the Habs would have been pissed and gone out and try to take out someone on the Senators.
I'm sure that factored into his decision (as well as the rabid Montreal fan base). I hope Eller has a quick and full recovery, but I don't agree with this decision at all.
