overwhelmingly, people believe Gruden screwed the pooch with the Mack trade ....... however, wouldn't the Patriots have done the same thing?

The Pats don't give out enormous contracts ... they trade players for max value in return before they have to pay them huge money.

This. But damn they could have used Chandler Jones or Jamie Collins yesterday....

Less than F...like a G-minus, or an H+

And Romo is better on the Corona Hotline, to boot

I feel like romo was trying to be Gruden. "BOOM" and "good call" were Johns'.

He's terrible. F grade for sure. He's got a good QB, good O-Line, and enough defensive help he should be putting together solid performances. He's also got QB guru/mastermind in Greg Olson.

Gruden is horrible, and I fully support his failure. Ideally he goes 0-16 and we get the added bonus of not having to listen to his dumbass in the booth. Although we have that man chick from last week... *shudders*

In seriousness, he's fine... Denver is hard to play away and Denver is no slouch either. They would've annihilated Seattle if Keenum wasn't throwing INTs every other series. And the Rams are fear realized for me. I predicted that team could downward spiral if things started out shaky, and for one half with OAK it did... BUT, I also said if they put it all together and keep a win streak alive to quiet down the 'personalities' and 'locker room children' they'd be insane. They've done the latter so far.

I was about to say.... Lol.

Gruden is still 10x better than that transvestite we have to listen to now.

Might have been a good idea to get him some fresh copy...the advertising firm is probably trying to save money, and said "just give him the same scripts we originally wrote for Chuckie."

I sure hope somebody got fired for that

I would give him a B on coaching. They are playing hard and corrected their issues on offense from week 1 to week 2. I will give him an F on the old-ass free agents he brought in. They will fall apart at the end of the season. And oh yeah, there's that whole getting rid of one of the top two defenders in the league....

He's what I thought he would be. Oakland tried bringing back Art Shell for a 2nd stint on the same team and it looked bad.

Wash tried it with Gibbs and it didn't work.

Ted Marchibroda with the Colts was a failure on the 2nd try.

Tomsula in 49ers got a 2nd stint and it stunk

Knox couldn't do it with the Rams, Gillman failed in SD, Campbell went 11-32 on his 2nd try in Atlanta, and Vikes legendary coach Bud Grant came back for one losing season.

So based on precedent, he's at a C I guess, right where I figured he would be.

Way too early for that kind of thing, keep in mind he doesn't have his picks/free agents.....yet.

After a couple drafts, some free agent signings, hmmmmm?

He get's an A for consistency. It's what I expected. Gruden's coaching record is 95-83 or a .534 winning percentage. Nothing's changed - middle of the pack. He'll get ya 8-8 over and over.

I voted "slightly above F" but the more I think about his salary the more I would like to change my vote to option 2.

C+

We should have won yesterday until Keenum put together a nice game winning drive....

Gruden can still coach and our defense played well....

Not so sure on the Mack deal, although your opinion is tge popular one

That team isn't close, pouring so much cap space into one player, or piling up draft picks, i think they may have made the right move

Mack wasn't taking them to the Super Bowl. So they got a good return on him.
Suck this season and get a good pick.
The Bears will suck so you will get their good picks.
Make sure to pick good players.
