Are you using ship sticks or taking on the plane?

I've never used ship sticks and was thinking about it for my upcoming trip...but it's a direct flight so I might just pay Delta.

We used to ship our clubs down (my brother's job involved Fed Ex-ing stuff) but now we just pay the airlines.

Yeah...shipsticks is about $40 for most places I understand, but I don't mind paying another $20 or so...I always pack light...no struggle to handle my one carry on and the club.

I know how you do it, because I did it for 12 yrs, but I tell, once you move away from snow...you never move back to it....willingly.

I do okay for myself here, but if the double my pay to move back to Jersey...I wouldn't...quadruple?...we can talk...lol.

My regular crew and I are teed up for a round at our club's simulator this coming Sunday at 1. I haven't picked up a club since I was in Punta Cana in late October.

Should be fun. The 3 youngins I golf with are pretty good and are all ball busters like me so we will drink and laugh the whole time.

Same here in Minnesota, but i think we might pick up to 3 inches of snow tonight...golfing in January might have to wait another year.

We played TPC at Sawgrass yesterday in the simulator. Had a good time and shot 90. As usual chipping from 30-70 yds was goofy. There is just no way to accurately gauge those distances when you're standing 15' from the screen. Much of the carnage on my scorecard was cause by two badly judged chips early in the round and dunking two in the water on 16 as well as overpowering the 17th island green with one club too much.

Other than that it was all good.

They are building a top golf as I type 4 miles or less from my house. I'll hit it up from time to time I am sure. But nothing beats going to the range and playing the course. I get out a lot compared to the posters I seen here. Anyone in the Charlotte area I do not mind playing a round and making new golf friends. Take it easy!

we got 90% of the snow fall for the season the first two weeks of December

since then, above average temps and small flurries that haven't amounted to much - hell, only had to use my snow blower 3 times this season, a personal best
