We'll see, but if it was this tough beating the Dubs missing three of their best players, I don't see them beating the Dubs 4 times when they are healthy.
Doubt it. They're all aware of the #1 goal-win another title. If they can break the Bulls' record in their quest to that title then so-be-it. But, they're not going to forgo the ultimate goal for the reg season record. Their coach is too smart for that and their players are also.Gonna be tough.
The Warriors are as good as advertised.
If I haaaaaaaaaaaad to pick a Team right now, it would be the Dubs.
I only wonder if the quest for 73 will take such a big toll that they don't have enough petrol in the tank come the WCF.

What the Spurs proved Saturday night is the style of basketball that must be played if they want to beat Golden State 4 of 7
I mean, they are so fricking fun to watch.
So, I hope they don't take their foot off the pedal.
But, they can't win if they get forced into playing a halfcourt game.
I don't see Curry having 4 bad games like he did.
So, it will be interesting because you know Pop is gonna rest his guys.
In reality... they won very convincingly once and won a hard-fought close game the other time.

I'd go Spurs. Especially after them being bounced in the 1st round last year.
Meh. 8 points and 7 rebounds a game. I'm not impressed.Duncan still starts. It was Pop's decision not to start him, specifically against the Warriors. Duncan is still very much a big factor for the Spurs. He's averaging 25 minutes a game this year.
That worries me, but the good thing is they would have to play those games tough anyway since the Spurs are right on their ass for home court. The Spurs, who I expect to be their opponent in the WCF, will have expended just as much energy and are a much older team.Gonna be tough.

His presence alone is a huge impact for the Spurs.Numbers doesn't always tell you the entire story on the impact a player has on a team. It actually requires actually watching the team more than 2 times.
I have to agree. Its the eye test he doesn't pass with me this year. He is slow as a turtle and can't get up and down the floor anymore or jump at all. He gets those few points and rebounds from positioning and basketball intelligence. He does provide an element of leadership and stability still; I'll give him that.Numbers doesn't always tell you the entire story on the impact a player has on a team. Probably not. he is the one coach who runs his star players, not the other way around. You have to be a certain type of player to be allowed to play for San Antonio and Popovich gets a lot of the credit for that.Is there a better head coach than Pops?
That style will work when the Warriors don't have Bogut, Iguodala and Ezili but it will get them blown out if the Dubs do have those guys. What the Spurs proved Saturday night is the style of basketball that must be played if they want to beat Golden State 4 of 7
