As early as now, I'm making this thread because I'm definitely hyped AGAIN about this game!! We know we got disappointed how the Spurs got blown out in Oracle Arena. But this time, it's happening in the SPURS house, and they have an outstanding home streak which I believe is what makes this game more interesting than the first one.

So who you got? Discuss!!

I am betting Popovich rests multiple players for this one. He will not play his full squad in any of the remaining Warrior games this close to the playoffs.

For some reason, this game doesn't excite me.

If I'm Pop, I'd poll my players on how much they really want the #1 seed in the West. If they don't care about it all that much, I'd totally sandbang these Warriors games since they're so close to the playoffs. I'd keep all my cards to myself until then.

And just let the 3rd longest home streak in NBA history END?

I'd guess Pop wouldn't decide this by a vote. It isn't a democracy.

The only thing Pop and the Spurs care about is rings. Regular season records don't mean a thing if you don't win a ring (I should patent that. lol). Remember the Patriots team that went 18-0 and lost the Super Bowl?

My guess is that Pop will start with his full roster but playing pretty vanilla on both ends of the floor. If he doesn't like the way the game is going, he'll bench his starters early.

Or he'll sit some or all of Timmy, Parker, Ginobili, Leonard and Aldridge.

It's Pop, so anything is possible.

I'm thinking the Spurs take this game, although it'll come down to the wire. The Warriors are already without Iguodala and will be on the back end of a back to back.

I think the Warriors have a chance to win again if Green is able to hold Aldridge in check. If Aldridge has a big game, Spurs win.

Should be a good game, early West final preview perhaps?

I have heard rumblings that Draymond Green has not been very happy lately in GSW- and with the injuries to Ezeli, Iggy there might be a start of some cracks forming in the Bay area.

LOLz. Just all sorts of Nope.

Draymond not happy in GSW is the dumbest thing ever. No beat writer for the Warriors or any national ones that constantly follow the Warriors are reporting this. Anything you hear on this is basically just click bait. Also just think of it logically and know Draymond's personality, it doesn't make any sense. He's a guy that just wants to win. He's on the winning est team in the league right now and has the second biggest role on the team. He just signed an 80M deal in the off-season and made his first all-star team. Yet people think he's unhappy being in GSW?

Honestly, it's fun to watch the Warriors battle in games with other good teams that test them. But, if Pop throws in the white flag & rests his starters I won't be mad. It will be an easier game for the Warriors-and a win would mean HCA in the entire post season is one less game away. They wouldn't be risking losing on their own home court so I would say it's a win win for GS. They have nothing left to prove this season anyway.

If it were anyone other than Pop, I'd agree.

But, clearly, he doesn't give a shit about such trivial things.

That would matter to Teams like my Clippers, who have no prayer of doing greater things this Season.

But, the Spurs are all about the Banners.....and I don't mean the one that says WCF.

You can probably use those rumblings to do the same thing with as you do with the tweets that say Kyrie wants out of Ohio...

Wipe your ass with them.

I heard a comment on ESPN today about why either the Spurs or GSW will win the title this year that I agree with 100%

Forget who said it, but it was on The Jump. They said that the Spurs and GSW are each going to beat you on your home court at least once in any series. That means you have to beat them twice on their home court to win the series and that's not going to happen.
