I heard a comment on ESPN today about why either the Spurs or GSW will win the title this year that I agree with 100%

Forget who said it, but it was on The Jump. They said that the Spurs and GSW are each going to beat you on your home court at least once in any series. That means you have to beat them twice on their home court to win the series and that's not going to happen.

If that is true, then there is no way Spurs can beat GS.

They were talking about everyone else. If there is a team in the NBA that could beat GSW at home twice in a series, it's the Spurs. By the same token, if there's a team in the NBA that could do the same to the Spurs, it's GSW.

It's just a shame that their match-up won't be the Finals. I think that would be one of the best Finals in a long time.

Pop should just take this one game against GSW seriously. Losing another one won't do shit to them. While it's still regular season, why not try and go all out against the 1st seed team and if you see the Spurs still failing after that then you can adjust, make new plan for the playoffs.

I would say Dubs by 14...but since they played in Dallas on the front end of a b2b before hitting SA..I say they'll still win it...but just by 4 or 5.

I wouldn't even bet vcash on this game. I could see Pop going all out to win it or sitting some combination or all of Parker, Timmy, Kawhi, Aldridge and Ginobili or anything in between.

Also, if he has some defensive wrinkle to slow down the Warriors, we ain't gonna see it today.

I'm going to say this.....if GS is hitting their outside shot, NOBODY - and I mean NOBODY - can beat them. Not the Spurs, not the Globetrotters, not the all star team, not the Mon-stars, NOBODY.

HCA won't matter if that shot is falling. To beat them regularly you have to either force them into a bad shooting percentage or hope they have an off series shooting wise. Or injuries.

Spurs are totally dominating the Ws on defense, holding them to well below their average. This is the matchup, outstanding offense vs outstanding defense, who will impose their will? In SA playing the back end of a back to back this result isn't surprising. No excuses, just facts. Is there any doubt the WCF is going 7?
