Just watched the post-game presser with McShit-fer-Brains and he is now starting to blame the players for not executing on offense. How about you change your approach to play-calling, ya flippin air-headed dumbass!!
He’s a genius, he doesn’t need to change anything!

Wouldn’t have mattered if they executed.

The offense was trash, from play calling on down.

Well here it is. The definitive article that pretty much nails all of it and includes the usual McShit-fer-Brains reporting that this mess is partly his bad play-calling. LOL!! WTF?? How many times have we heard this mea culpa before??!! Dumbass says the same things over and over but does nothing to change them. Well the payment is now due and McShit-fer-Brains doesn't have anymore money!!

The Rams need to sign OBJ ASAP, because it is clear they need him in this offense. They can't afford to wait and have another team sign him instead.

Especially since McVay refuses to give McCutcheon a shot when Robinson is crapping the bed week after week.

Seriously man, what in the hell would it hurt to give that guy some reps and see if it adds a dimension to the offense that you are clearly lacking?

just baffling to the Nth degree.

That Ramswire article pretty much sums it all-up. I didn't realize that Shelton left the game with an injury. That means Kolone or Brewer were inserted into the Center spot. The O-line is getting thin and without Shelton, we really don't have a decent Center now.

Except for that missed attempt at an interception by Kendrick and then everyone else getting blocked to allow Samuels to run freely for a TD, the D played well without a significant and consistent pass rush. Floyd looks done and maybe it is time to move him out the door but we let everyone else go like OKO and Garrett and Hollins and Lewis are iffy. So maybe Van Valkenburg is next in line or maybe one of the newbies like Kier Thomas.

The Rams do have some problems and Stafford and suddenly no consistent WRs beyond Kupp and Higbee and no running game are two more. They will have to piece it together for Dallas with the short week. Somehow they have to get some of this fixed or we will be 2-3 going into the Carolina game.

I'm going on a limb and say that we will probably lose this game too. Look at the stats 18 carries about 45-50 yds on the ground. This has been the case for about every game this season. Unless you can run the damn ball, you are going to lose period. No team in the league is afraid of our weak ass offensive line which is pretty much down right offensive.

Man was I surprised.
My prediction was way off.
I think last night’s game will end up being an outlier for both teams.
Tai, pass the blunt this way please, i need a cpl hits. We have been shitty all season.

Well guys, I think the lack of early round picks and only having late round picks is finally catching up to the Rams.

Add in the fact their FA pick ups have been terrible ( Robinson at 15M per- YIKES! ), and it compounds the problem.

There is no pass rush whatsoever. And guys like Ebukam, who the Rams let leave, are producing for another team.

The fact the FO has completely ignored the OL the past several drafts is completely obvious now. Took the little Turd and passed on Humphries ( who the Rams desperately could use RIGHT NOW ), and they don't even play the little TURD, so the pick looks like a complete disaster.

Guys, I really think losing Holmes has hurt this team BIG TIME. It has become abundantly clear he was the mastermind behind the scouting. Look what he has already done in Detroit. And look at the Rams past 2 drafts without him, and the evidence is obvious.

McVay is not the "genius" everyone claimed he was because he just cannot game plan to save his life. And his ego is way too inflated for him to hand the duties to someone else. He has bought into the hype hook, line, and sinker, and it is affecting his ability to coach. The guy can't even find was to scheme uses for his little TURD project he drafted. Why can't he use him the way San Fran uses Samuel? HELLO?

Guys, we may have to relish that championship from last year for a very long time, because I don't see this getting any better anytime soon. Lack of draft picks, can't scout or draft, terrible FA decisions, horrible coaching and more.

This is 2019 all over again, and this time, McVay doesn't have Goff to throw under the bus as an excuse.

BTW, have you guys seen what Goff is doing in Detroit? If they had some semblence of a defense, they would be killing it. Goff lit it up Sunday without his starting RB, his top WR and several other weapons and still put up 45 freakin' points.

there was a quote on the podcast i heard otw to work yesterday that stated if the Lions defense was bad (they are abysmal) then they would be undefeated.

I honestly don’t know where this team goes from here, Retro.

McVay is a huge problem.

Stafford is a problem, the OL is a problem, Ramsey is awful.

There is no pass rush WHATSOEVER!

And no running game because McVay has his favorites and cut the one RB that actually did anything last season- Michel.

I'm sure Michel could be had via trade if desired, basically a #3 RB currently.

Rams ALWAYS look bad after playing the Niners. If the stink still sticks after the Dallas game, strong defensively in their own right, changes are definitely needed. Allen Robinson has been a waste of space. Get McCutcheon involved and elevate Harris, get some fresh blood out there. I'd keep an eye on other practice squads too, some guys are lurking that could be useful. If the Bills don't elevate Hodgins soon, he could be a target. Plenty of other guys that were intriguing in recent drafts are out there too (Coulter, Roberson, Austin). Hell, Cole Beasley could take some workload off of Kupp.

Greg Mancz could be another C option off the Bills practice squad.

Robinson can't seem to get separation at all and is likely not on the same page with Stafford yet (will he ever be?). Missing Bobby Trees...

Rams lost Ebukam and Miller on back to back days in March. They really needed to lock up Miller.

OL has multiple injuries already and lost their LT to retirement. Regression has to be expected, and without a 1st or 2nd rounder (and the season-ending injury to their 3rd round pick Bruss), they couldn't reload in a quick fashion. In fact, only Kendrick (and Arcuri if elevated) have been of any use from this year's draft class.

The physical differences between Atwell and Deebo are IMMENSE. Deebo has 50lbs on Tutu.

Goff has a two-headed quality running game behind an emerging OL and has played the #1 defense (Eagles), but also the #27 (Vikings), #30 (Commies), and Seahawks (#31) and have only managed one win vs Washington. Their own defense (last) keeps them chasing points all game long. The Rams have faced the Niners (3rd), Bills (#5), Cards (19th), and Falcons (29th). They beat the bad defenses, and were handled by the strong defenses. A little perspective is helpful. Let's also remember the Rams have lost to the Niners in 6 straight regular season games and have been held to 10 pts or less in 3 of those losses. This is a horrible matchup for the Rams, largely due to Shanahan and McVay's shared history coming up.

Yes, Shop, there are excuses for the poor play, without a doubt.

However, it still comes back to McVay and the FO ignoring the OL, the terrible drafting of Atwell over Humphries, trading Woods and signing Robinson to that ridiculous contract.

All of that is at the feet of McVay and Co.

And that doesn’t even address his terrible playcalling and not using some of his roster that could actually change the direction this team is heading.

And there is no reason in hell the 9ers should be a bad matchup 7 times in a row in the regular season. That is called “ Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result “.

Because Shanny and Co do the same thing every time they play the Rams, and McVay and Co still don’t have an answer for it.

Then, McVay runs out the same offensive game plan against, well, everyone, and defenses know what’s coming. The teams that have the personnel to stop it succeed. Those who don’t the Rams beat. And in the case of the 9ers, they have the personnel to beat McVay’s NEVER CHANGING offense.

And there is absolutely no excuse for McCutcheon not to be playing.

Period.

Just a dumb freakin’ decision like drafting Atwell over Humphries.

In bold, that is the classical definition of INSANITY!!

This is what you get when you let a player get to thinking he is invincible when he plays the Rams. Why we let this guy run freely through our secondary unabated is beyond me but this is part of the bullshit mentality McShit-fer-Brains has cultured in the Rams to believe the Rams cannot beat the Niners in the regular season. We start hitting this guy every play, he'll eventually shut his mouth. But nobody on the defense lays a hand on him.

I believe it took Von Miller to let the Rams defense know that they were believing the Niners simply cannot be defeated by the Rams when they play each other. That's why we won the NFC Championship last year against the Niners. Remove Von Miller and the defense is right back to the same beliefs and thus shit performance on the field.
