The wounds are still fresh and it hurts a lot right now. However I am proud of the heart and resiliency this team has showed this year. The Dodgers could have given up in June being 9 games back but they put together a historical run just to give us a shot in the postseason, which as a die hard Dodger fan is all I can ask for. I cannot begin to think about offseason moves yet as the wound is still fresh for me. However, despite Kershaw's implosion today, he had a good playoffs. Greinke has been a freaking beast for us. Kenley since becoming the closer has been amazing.
My hope for next year is for us to get and stay healthy as our potential in our lineup is awesome! No I am not blaming our loss on injuries as a scapegoat. I am merely stating that if we can stay healthy next year I think we could go further.
Third hats off to the Cardinals as they are a great postseason team and hell a great franchise to model after. They were smart in not overpaying pujols and using the draft pick to sign Wacha. I definitely tip my hat to the better team.
Anyways I look forward to offseason moves and GO DODGERS!
