There's definitely some truth to that. But that's because most teams used a draft pick on them as a G, but he didn't really cut it as a G in the NFL. For me it's like having a true FB. Not someone who played Div II nit that there is anything wrong with that but was a big hard to take down RB, who when given a chance in the NFL is now slated as a FB.

Man I want NE to ground and pound. Two TEs sets with a FB and Jeanty or Rhamone if they don't go after Jeanty.

Hooper is a geriatric case and TE's need time to develop.
Signing a 2nd string old veteran does not preclude signing a TE.....

Normally, I would agree. But they have 3 TEs already. As much as I want Warren, we need to fill other holes. Who knows, maybe they surprise us and fill those holes in FA giving them the luxury of taking Warren. I'd be cool with that.
