I taught my children to have good manners. I also taught them to recognize that not everybody else has them.

Mormons are just doing what they think they are supposed to.

When I find not handicapped people parking in handicapped spaces, I take the opportunity to chew them out if I can. If they are not available, I think to myself that they are cursing themselves and will likely end up handicapped.....

If cops were handing out tickets for those illegally parking in handicap spots, we'd be bitching about cops misplacing their priorities.
What kills me about parking in handicap spaces is the lack of awareness that the spot would never be empty if it weren't reserved for those with need.

Gimme Five:

Gimme five purchases you have made in the last five years that you feel were great purchases.

1. My Outback, I got the turbo which makes it a little more fun to drive but all in all this car rides great and offers plenty of space for our long road trips to NH.

2. Bissell Spin Wave: Once I put all the new flooring in the old mop and bucket was not the answer the strings leave streaking on LVP this thing is great.

3. Three Wagyu Ribeye's: I cannot afford these very often so I started eating less steak so when I want steak I can get what I want. It was a fair trade as I replaced steak with more grilled fish.

4. Whole Home Generator: Whether or not I was going to remodel the entire home this was going to happen. With my mothers-in-law's medical situation it was a real necessity It served us well during a 12hour loss of power.

5. Kettle Upgrades: Weber Temperature Control cheap purchase that works really well. My stick burner had rusted out and I do not cook in large scale anymore, so I looked for a means to use the kettles more, this purchase along with a vortex and ribolator have been great upgrades to my grilling arsenal.

  1. My road bike which carried me for months of training, then 100 miles for a fund raising event.
  2. My bike trainer for indoor winter training
  3. My rings for body weight training (awesome for pushups and pullups)
  4. A couple of pulleys and some paracord for a simple DIY cable weights system.
  5. Tie on lots of stuff, possibly my Galaxy tablet, or my induction range.

Gimme Five: Gimme 5 Free Agency moves you would like the Pats to make. I can be cutting dead weight, adding a specific player adding a specic position etc

1. Sign an DE / Edge player

2. Sign a decent O line either IOL or T. ( I prefere to draft a T but we will see.

3. Ink a Safety I want that position off the draft board if possible.

4. Save some cap space for rookies and vets that may not make camp but could fill a need here.

5. Be smart Be Quick. Let's not mess around we knew this day was coming be active earlt

1. Spend spend spend that cap $
2. Sign Cam Robinson
3. Trade back in the draft.
4. Take Jaenty with the 1st pick. I wanted Tyler Warren but they signed Hooper so not sure I do that now.
5. Find a true back up center

If they could get Robinson I think they could have a solid line. Tired of having guys play out of their natural position. Robinson LT, Strange LG, Andrew's C, Owenu RG and Wallace back at RT where he played at Penn State. But they need a true center to replace Andrew who likely is in his last year.

I think we need to find a Center period. Hasn't Andrews been hurt the last two years and he's long in tooth. I expected him to announce his retirement.

I probably should've said find a center in the draft that will sit and learn from Andrew's for a year. Back up for this year. Insurance in case Andrew's does get hurt instead of trying to fill it with a G.

Almost all centers in the NFL started out as a guard.
If we get a guard in the draft, let Strange learn from Andrews?

Hooper is a geriatric case and TE's need time to develop.
Signing a 2nd string old veteran does not preclude signing a TE.....

We do need to save cap space for rookies otherwise they cannot be signed. And teams often cut vets because some younger stud they drafted or is a year two guy is a better prospects. Teams ink seasoned vets all the time to one year or two years deals. They bring exp and help develop younger players.
