That's the thing... You just can't assume a cause and effect then just isolate a portion. Maybe the body needs an exact nutrient order to properly assimilate magnesium? Maybe it needs to be chewed a certain way to get the right saliva ration.
Obviously...Cause when I assume it makes you an asshole...

I eat seaweed, in the form that it is in my sushi.
Does that have the requisite amount? Has it been processed out? Do I just need to go down to tha habah and pull some out? Do I chew it as is or can I boil my lobstah with it?

Does it only work when eaten and digested with turmeric? Or at separate times?

I wonder if it matter the type of magnesium or the source of the magnesium...

Does a specific type of magnesium supplement do the trick? Or only eating seaweed?

Seaweed contains magnesium in various forms, primarily as magnesium hydroxide and forms like magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate
My understanding is that if you get the magnesium into your body, it will work.
Seaweed , beans, etc. can do the job.
If you take a pill, it must be one that is easily absorbed. Many spplements are not easily absorbed.
If you take a supplement that is easily absorbed, you must take the correct amout!
Too much magnesium can cause other health problems. = or you can just eat beans or seaweed or ???????

I was having difficulty with joint pain , 7 years ago.
I read that calcium deficiency can cause joinint pain. Everybody is selling calcium!
A year later, my calcium was too high. Hih calcium can cause death or can cause joint pain!
Visit to doctor and a blood test showed high calcium. She said that can be caused by a parathyroid tumor. Easy surgery.
There are many causes of high calcium. I told her I had been taking calcium and vitamin D. She said that was not likely the cause.
After months of not taking the supplements, everything went back to normal.

If you want to take supplements, I'm not the one to talk to about it!

Magnesium rich can be misleading. While many of these foods should be high in magnesium they are not or may not be depending on how or where they are cultivated. Many factory farms have depleted the soils of many nutrients through years of over harvesting, tilling, pesticide and herbicide use. A vast percentage of our population has a magnesium deficiency. Even many vegan/vagetarian that eat many of these foods listed.

Farms that are deficient in magnesium will have signs of chlorosis. It would be so obvious that anybody could tell. Farms are definitely ruining the soil but I doubt that they could grow anything without magnesium

It's a combination of issues. Is there the nutrients in the soil? Can or does the plant take the nutrient from the soil? Are there also external obstacles preventing the plant from absorbing the nutrients?

Modern GMO plants perform differently because they are designed to grow big fast. Pesticides and herbicides and other soil additives may also effect the efficiency.

The reason we're not going to live to be 150 is pretty simple. We didn't take anything seriously until we started getting old.

By that time, we smoked at one time or another, drank way too much alcohol, ate way too many McDonald's cheeseburgers and fries as well as way too much processed food. How long did we eat canned vegetables before eating only fresh or fresh frozen?

My brother in law worked for a huge bread company. Large grocery stores got credit for unsold bread for a very long time. The drivers went in and took the day old or two day old bread and brought to a company store where people could buy it for 1/3 price. Then problems started and the stores started charging for shelf space. Then they told the bread companies that they would not pay for unsold bread, so they better make it last longer. The bread companioes started adding chemicals and then they found a secret......Gum. Mix gum wioth flour and it expands and majke the bread softer for much longer and it makes it just a little chewy. How much gum did we try to digest??

It just goes on and on. If you make it to 105, every news channel in the U.S. will show you blowing out the candles on your birthday cake. They don't mention that your in a home, your wife or husband dies thirty years ago, two of your three children are gone and one of your grandchildren are in a wheelchair beside you at your party.
