Giants didn’t get much better. Yeah Haskins obviously wasn’t ready for the NFL, wasn’t a 1st rounder but he even had more issues than we thought. Danny boy shouldn’t have went top 10...he has some very clear issues in the pocket that he will need to work on to even become an average QB in this league. Could be on the path of Rosen and Haskins if he can’t fix those issues

In all fairness to Dan we desperately needed a QB after the Alex Smith injury. The player didn't perform. Qb's always get over drafted. After the year haskins had at Ohio St. you would think it was a no brainer but it didn't work out b/c the player wasnt all there mentally. Gruden didnt want him b/c he was trying to save his job and didnt want to mentor a rookie. He thought he could of saved his job with Case Keenaum.

Im just happy RR saw this from the beginning that this kid couldn't perform. From earlier in the year and now that he is released. Time to move on now. Im glad he is gone. I loved the benching earlier this year when fellow Skins fans said they wanted DH to play b/c we weren't winning anything anyways.

Who knows how well things will turn out in the future but 2 years in and the 2019 NFL QB Class is embarrassing. Obviously Murray is a star and the clear #1 but out of all the QB’s drafted Drew Lock is the 2nd best QB and 6th round pick Gardner Minshew is 3rd. That should tell you how bad the rest of the class is.

Any UDFA from that class make it?

Its a very weird draft class where all of the top QB are kinda who we thought they were by the time the dust settled. Kyler Murray looked the best but worried about his durability. That checks out. Everyone thought Daniel Jones was a reach. That checks out. Haskins was a project. That checks out still. Lock was inconsistent. That checks out still. Minshew was the diamond in the rough and its hard to say what his future is.

If anything, the culture has definitely changed within the Washington org... They continue moving forward with this momentum by releasing their 1st round QB pick that was on their roster for less than 2 years... There are not many org that would've trimmed their fat like that... Props to them for doing so... Rivera is a huge reason for the shift in culture... It's only going to make this team better moving forward...

Completely missing on a 1st round QB can set your franchise back several years.

Very true. Reality is more franchises than not, miss on their first round QB picks. Evaluating the intangibles outside of a physical traits remains an art form as well as a hack of a lot of good luck!

You’ll be looking at this scenario soon, hope you have better luck with the QB sitch than I have with my team.
