MoMass and Watson each got a concussion on Sunday. Shurm is calling them day-to-day.

Ok...have not looked at any of this thread but this quote from Harbaugh's press conf. on Cleveland stood out HUGE to me:

Q: Are you going to continue to bring practice squad players on the road trips?

HARBAUGH: Yes, that will continue. The thinking behind it is pretty simple. Those guys are working extremely hard and in a lot of cases they are the hardest working guys during the week.

It's also a huge motivational factor for those players to do better, see the big picture, and realize their dreams...this guy is more than a coach, he is truly a leader. Plus the guy likes Disney on Ice...definitely a meat eater!

Would be great to see Braylon ready to get some action against his old team...no bad blood, but could provide some intense motivation "HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW!"

The line now is -9

Makes sense but I figure the public would get with us at 9. GB was -9 and didn't cover but with Adrian Peterson and being home I see when that line stayed under 10.

Cle run game has been crap. They get 1 less yard per catch than our hobbled crew.

Defense points is better than 23 teams but they have played 24th best offense on average.

And they are +2 in turnovers.

Crap Schedule. Not unlucky with tipped balls or fumbles. Still can't outscore opponents.

The Browns are not good.

Has anyone listened to the audio of this press conference? Harbs is a pretty odd interview. He sounds distracted and likes he's medicated. I'm not saying he's either, but I almost thought it was a joke or something.

Haven't heard this one, but he's sounded like that to me pretty much all year. I think it's a combo of boredom and not liking the media.

That's as good as anything I could come up with. If I can find the audio, I can try and post it. I streamed it over my iPhone at lunch today.

Mohamed Massaquoi - WR - Browns

The Cleveland Plain Dealer expects the Browns to be extra cautious with Mohamed Massaquoi's latest concussion.
Massaquoi suffered a concussion about a year ago when he took a blow to the head from Steelers LB James Harrison. He missed a week then and will likely have to miss a game now as well. Look for Josh Cribbs to start opposite Greg Little Sunday.

If Edwards isn't up to full speed as a player, I won't hate them for NOT playing him. Maybe dress up if nothing else but if they feel comfortable holding him out another week, this case vs Browns, then I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

I want Edwards back as much or more than the next guy, but given the "talent" level I percieve from the Browns, Edwards in this game isn't a must have....

DEFINITELY the Giants gm IMO...

Good point. Probably what the 49ers might be thinking as well.

I just read the transcript...but nothing seemed abnormal...for him, though he is definitely getting more chatty, actually speaking specifics on some questions...got pretty detailed on Fangio and Cleveland's D.

My point in posting that was how he takes PS players on road trips...very smart, excellent leadership and coaching.

Mohamed Massaquoi (concussion) and Ben Watson (concussion) won't practice Wednesday.
Neither player has been ruled out for Sunday, but both have sustained previous concussions within the last year. Coach Pat Shurmur has already said Carlton Mitchell will be active. Look for Greg Little, Evan Moore and Josh Cribbs to the Colt McCoy's top three targets this week.

It is Wednesday before game weekend so here comes tradition...

No question about Craig's sincerity in wanting to see Gore surpass him.

The article quotes the following:

"Gore is 390 yards away from surpassing Joe Perry and becoming the franchise***8217;s all-time leading rusher."

However, according to PFR Perry has 8969 yards as a 49er and Gore is at 6955 which is 1734 yards away. This is the second time I have heard/read in the media that Gore can break Perry's record this year - am I missing something?
