Interesting. Gotta be a solid improvement. Poor duke.
It won't be an improvement if they don't get more talented players on offense. It doesn't matter who's coaching you when the players you're working with aren't good.

Coordinators can change the dynamic considerably I doubt Muschamp is stupid enough to bring in a guy and handcuff him. If he is then he will be looking for a job after next season.HC yes. Florida is not getting one of those. Will still have that hot headed HOT FUCKING MESS of a coach next year. So I doubt there will be any improvement. Especially since Muschamp wants to stick with Driskel.

This hire doesn't do anything to get me excited. Duke's success came with Cutcliffe's playcalling. Cutty called the plays, not Roper. That being said, time will tell. If the Gator offense doesn't improve a lot next season, Roper will be gone, along with Muschamp.
I agree with you. A much, much better scenario would have been for Florida to get Cutcliffe.
Muschamp’s time ran out a long time ago. If he doesn’t open the first half of the season absolutely destroying teams by 30 pts a game, he should be fired Lane Kiffin style. I don’t see either scenario happening unfortunately. Stupid Foley will give him way too much leash again next year and we will be into year 3 of a horrible depression.
He handcuffed Weiss and Pease. Both of which could have done a great job IF Muschamp could keep his mitts off the offense. He does not know how to allow he OC do his job. Ask any Gator fan on here.
