Glad we actually jumped on the sox early. I just hope our pitching doesn't pitch like the last 3 games against the sox.

Nice to start them out down 2 before ever batting like they did us. Let's hope it works as well against them.

And we're already getting squeezed by the homeplate umpire. Of course we're playing Boston.

His arm sure doesn't look tired. 96-97mph fastball the whole way. Doesn't look like he has his slider working for strikes yet. Hoepfully it will come together later in the game. He has only shown them two pitches so far I am pretty sure. Fastball and slider, which is smart till he gets to the rest of the lineup.

Is there anything less attractive than the "duck lips" pose?

What does Holland throw? Fastball, curve, slider? I can't remember if he throws a change up, but I'd think with the velocity he has a decent change-up would be a heck of a weapon for him.

I don't think you need to worry about Holland having a dead arm. He's pitched a lot of innings before this year. As far as his pitches (POP OUT!!!!) he has a slider that he likes to use if I'm not mistaken. That and the curve. Don't think he has a changeup really.

I'm pretty sure Miller is getting the same zone Dutch is. Which is fine, because Dutch has better stuff in my opinion.

On another thought. You have to think that if Ian played for Boston he would have like 40 home runs or more a year with his swing.

Crap, new pitcher. I'm sticking with my Beltre call though.
