And Douglas loses 7 on the punt return.

It's first and 97 from their own 3.

Pats are incapable of stopping a team on 3rd down. So bad.
Patriots are incapable of not self destructing.

Offsides on punt and give the ball back.

You can like BB all you want. Hius teams have gotten sloppier and sloppier over the past two years.

Control and discipline is totally lacking on this team.

That was a mistake. Patriots had 245 yards.

Howell was 7/10 for 108 yards on third down and converted 6 first downs.

Hopefully there will be some major changes in 2024, this current model is unsustainable.
And before all the apologetics chime in, the team has sucked for 3-4 running with no visible improvement in sight.

Fitting end of the game.

Patriots need to get five yards for Ryland to tie the game.

Nope. For the first time in the game Mac throws the ball as hard as he can 15 yards to Shster who flips the pass to the defender for an INT.

Mac threw twenty five passes under five yard the entire game and with the game on the line decides to throw to Shuster for 15.

When they needed 8 yards for 1st down?

Unbelievable they changed Jacoby Meyers for that guy. It is clear example of how poorly led this team is right now.

That last interception was 100% on Ju Ju. Hit him right in the hands.

We simply are not a good team. But I put this loss on our 3rd down defense. When you let the QB run for 24 yards on a 3rd and 23……. Not good.
This is a recurring problem for years now, even when we were good. Diff is that before we had an offense to overcome it.

I agree this is not a good team, and we had a glimmer of hope this year. Defense cannot tackle, WRs cannot get separation and hands are questionable, QB play is average to below average at best oddly enough the O line seems to be our strength at this time.

I really feel the Pats should have had the fire sale, and should in the offseason. I have said this before I really wonder if today's game is something BB cannot or will not adjust to. I like winning, we all like winning and don't really care about losing if it appears we put up a good fight and got beat by a better team.

Offseason should be interesting.

The speed and changes in the league being more offensive minded, have bypassed the coaches that are defense driven. The league wants offense because offense sells games and tickets to younger fans.

Bill is mired in the "Defense Wins Championships" mode of the 1990's and early 2000's. Younger coaches no longer are looking at the Vince Wilforks, they're looking for the Micah Parsons types. Max size 250 that can run 4.7. Those guys for some reason are not on BB's radar. That he never took the time to study or assimilate the offensive changes. The biggest being a Quarterback that can move his ass out of trouble with his legs.

The offseason could be very frustrating. If Bill Belichick is allowed to continue to operate this team, I can almost guarantee that we will be in the exact same position on November 6, 2024.

We've seen nothing to indicate his GM duties are a done deal. So expected more frustration I guess? I just cannot figure out what our greatest position of need is going into the offseason

Don't forget that 25 yard scramble on 3rd and 23!

This team is ridiculous and sucks at all 3 phases of the game!

Hell the Patriots got so damn lucky Howell threw that INT into the end zone right before halftime
