It's garbage time I know but the D really let off... 1st quarter they were excellent.... 2nd quarter on.... Not so much

Bentley going down certainly hurt. He was pretty much the only player who could match up with a TE in coverage. Luck and the TEs shredded NE. I love have big run stopping LBs but this D won't get any better until the get faster LBs or a big safety who can match up with TEs. Typical BB draft picks.

At least the offense is back so there is a chance to win this year. The D is not going to change.

This is Fox' first year with the simulcasts, but they've done it that way for a few years now. Last year there were 5 CBS games and 5 NBC games and the rest were NFLN. 11 of the TNF games will be done by Fox this year.

Yeah, sadly I think you are right. This defense will never been good. Sure they will make some plays but probably will get burnt more times than not. It does appear Gilmore has lost some a step and bites on more routes then he used to. Very easy for me to arm chair about, I know but it's not pretty.

They had a pass rush the 1st quarter than it fell apart, don't know why. Also, if they can't get off the field on 3rd and 4th downs it could be a very long season.

Let's not forget if the Colts don't drop all those passes they might have won. Vinateri missing the field goal was huge imo

Defensive ratings this early in the season are misleading, not a big enough sample. Especially when considering the array of offensive powerhouses they've played thus far.

KC should murder this unit.
