I also believe this Sox lineup is primed to explode. Whether that happens tonight or not, I don't know, but it is coming.

You must not have watched the 2000 Super Bowl?

The Titans pulled off the most exciting play in the history of organized football to make it there. The Music City Miracle. You might have heard about it?

And the 2000 Super Bowl was voted the best ever. Maybe you missed it?

Try harder, Brock.

The term "miracle" means that it should not have happened. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for a Super Bowl participant.

Who will win a championship first: The Padres or the Titans?

My vote goes to the Cubs!

Craig, Carpenter, Pedroia, and Molina. Holliday batted .300.
Carpenter was one of the most productive players in baseball in the regular season and Molina was pushing .400 for a bit. Both World Series teams ran into 'Giants' style starting pitching in the CS' so the playoff numbers are down

no need for excuses, we know you're half retarded.

Ortiz - .727
beltran - .300
craig - .444
robinson - .400

it's pretty simple, if the cards walk Ortiz, they win.

Game 1? I feel like Lance Lynn was their chance. I think Peavy was the Cards chance to explode...they should've scored 8+ in that game but their lineup failed at the bottom everytime

Yup. He was a force at the top of the Cards' lineup. 7th in OBP (.392) and 8th in OPS+ (143). I'd take that from my leadoff hitter any day.

Gomes' 1 hit came when we seriously needed it. Most of his hits seem to come with not just RISP but with the tying or lead run in scoring position.

That should count for something though not necessarily enough to justify batting him cleanup.
