This team is so F-ing stupid. Who the F cares if you win against Bills 2nd & 3rd stringers?? What the hell does that prove? Bye-bye # 1 pick.
This will be the worst PATS LOSS OF THE YEAR. MAYBE THEIR SECOND WORST LOSS IN THEIR HISTORY. MAYO IS SUCH A DUMB FUCK!

That win cost the Patriots at least 2 early picks from this draft by trading back. Picks that could have really helped this no talent team.

I understand the players wanting to win. A lot of pride. But….. damn. This win might have set us back years.

But who am I kidding. We had 5 picks in the first 110 picks and they did nothing with those.

Will the Patriots be stupid enough to play a good game today, upset the Bills, and lose the chance for #1 pick? Seems like it would be something Mayo would try to do to put a closing ribbon on a pathetic season.

Yup they were.

Kid looked good though.

The players are downplaying what happened. I don't blame them for wanting a win but thinking beating a team that didn't game plan, played mostly scrubs and didn't try isn't a pride worthy achievement

Pop says he didn't care about the pick. He just wanted to win.

Should we schedule high school teams next year? Pop - switch to wrestling and fight women and midgets. Be happy with that side show win.

Exactly. I can see that angle but only if the other team was really trying or if the win had any king of negative implications for the other team. This win only proved how stupid and poorly run this team is. Nothing to feel good about.

Chiefs showing how it’s done, down 24-0 to the Broncos. Do you think the players give a shit about losing this game?

Here is what we learned yesterday.

1. Yes, this team can screw up a free lunch.

2. Milton looked good albeit against the Bills scrubs but still NFL players/

3. Milton is not or should not be trade bait.

4. WR and QB needy teams ahead of us won't really mess with the potential players we would have drafted.

5. We need to really look into an O Line coach no one seems to be talking about this.

6. America gets to watch the Browns draft the wrong QB yet again!

Exactly. #1 has a point value of 3000. #4 has a value of 1800.
I'm not a believer of that system. It ignores the value of the actual players being drafted. Not only are draft classes different in quality from year to year, they're also different in terms of depth. Some years it's top heavy and other not, but still deep.

It isn't about whether they lost out on a player of need. They lost additional value they really needed.
Do they really though? We have more cap space than any other team, other than LT the positions we need are pretty deep this year. ie DT, Edge S and to a degree CB. There is still wiggle room

Well it's pretty much the baseline being used by all GMs. Got to start somewhere. Bottom line is that stupid win is going to cost a lot in terms of the picks they could've had. Assuming they trade down.

Hope they spend big in FA. It's the only hope for getting the ship turned around in the near future.

Do you really expect professional athletes to throw a game just to make the fans happy? They all want to win, its what they trained for their entire life.

Here's what they lost: a number 1 for next year from a lousy team. It would have been fun rooting for that to become another truly impactful player. Sure, there's no guarantee that's what they would have received or that would have ended up low enough. But precedence says there was a decent chance.
