LOL

I never noticed Gearin's face before. He looks like a petulant 5 year old.

I missed that. I'll have to find it somewhere (guessing it will be on the team page) and watch it later.

His speech was fantastic, very emotional. You can tell he's a natural too.

Brandon Crawford is the first Giants SS since 1905 to lead the Giants in homers. He had 7 homers that year lol

What I would like to see in the last game of the season is an All-Star type of subbing, allowing as many position players and bullpen arms in the game as possible.

It would be fun to see Bum pinch hit again.

Other than him though, who else is healthy enough for that type of send off?

Another great into song choice from whoever is running the show. Brett Bochy's walk up music was "Stunin' Like My Daddy"

Would love to see Vogey get an appearance. He was a GREAT Giant, and I can't imagine him back next year, so let the fans love on him a bit.

Maybe getting Vogey another appearance. I feel like he's kinda the elephant in the room though. He's not coming back, is he? There's been no talk about it though, and I'm sure Vogey doesn't want to be acknowledged like he's done. But he's not coming back to SF.... right?

Would also like to see Petit. Although, if he doesn't get in, I would imagine that's because the org plans on offering arb.

I assume you mean the org would be planning to bring him back. Isn't the default with him is that he is coming back, unless he's non-tendered?

His statements recently make me think he has a little resentment. Just the way he worded it makes him seem a bit butt-hurt.

One pitcher I doubt we see is Casilla. He's been used like mad to get to his option. I assume he'll be rested but I also wonder if Bochy goes to his default to save the game.

That's too bad.

Listening to Affeldt a couple of days ago, I was reminded how easily it is as a fan to take out the human component with the players and focus solely on their production. I had been thinking about how the Giants needed to part ways with Affeldt earlier in the year, not thinking much about what he has done for the time. And its difficult because we want to see the best on the team and being too sentimental can hurt the club but being soul-less is just as bad.

When you look at the roster jig-saw puzzle, I just think he may end up being an odd-man-out.
