Never thought I would see the day that the Pats would be a 6 point dog to a 4-7 team at home. Back to the suffering like we had from 70-01 but at least those teams were fun to watch with Grogan, Sam Bam, Francis, Tippett, Hannah, Morgan etc. and went to 2 SB's

We might have had a slightly different perspective on those years had 90-91 (Victor Kiam years) not happened. Those years were so degrading it cast a special stink back on the "normal" atrocious years.

But if Cunningham plays with any kind of success it will just prove that Bill:
1) cannot change with the times
2) screwed the pooch when he drafted Mac
3) was too cheap to keep Brady
4) Any 2 or 3 of the above

Why 3? The guy would be retired if he stayed like he's retired now from Tampa.

Just watched a bunch of snaps from Wednesday's practice.

A couple of things. Mac and Zappe were both in BLACK jerseys.
Malik is still on the Practice Squad roster. Is he at the end of his back and forth moves?
Everything that is known was seen at the "media" portion or first 90 minutes of practice. After 90 minutes the media must leave and cannot even watch from a distance. If they are seen doing so, they will be banned from all areas of Gillette Stadium.
Mac took 2nd snaps at the non-media session according to private talks with unnamed players.

No one knows for sure just what the hell is going on. Most people are guessing that Zappe will start, Malik will be activated to the 46 man game roster and Mac will be an active 3rd QB. Let's just say that there was plenty of blame to go around for last Sunday's game. JuJu not 'running' for several of his routes. Gesicki taking a left instead of a right turn. Less than stellar blocking by several members of the OL. As was so eloquently put, "There may be more than a couple of surprised players not on the active roster against the Chargers."

Even though Cowboys were on the the 3 channels we had and then found ch 38 and 56 (cartoons) with the rabbit ears, I didn't watch the Cowboys as a kid often. I remember watching Captain Comeback but not Danny White

I remember Danny as being more of a...loser, after taking over for Roger.

But man, he had a good career. 3 consecutive NFC Championship games is no easy feat even if he didn't win it all.
