Day to Day
Patriots Wednesday Live 11/7/2018:
Malcolm Butler has the worst rating of any starting CB in the NFL:
38 Receptions Against
631 Yards Allowed
7 Touchdowns Allowed
I don't think Vrabel was calling him out, I think he was sending him a public warning.
Also, this tidbit by Tom E Curran:
Prior to the 2017 season Malcolm Butler was offered a 5 year $42M contract with $25M guaranteed by the Patriots and heturned it down. The Patriots then signed FA Stephon Gilmore and Butler went beserk bitching to his team meates that Gilmore stole his payday when he signed a $65M contract with $30M guaranteed.
This also......Prior to being sat out of the Super Bowl, Butler's last three games were the worst of any CB that played during those three weeks on any team.
It's pretty apparent that Butler's confidence and his own mental condition have not been the same since Gilmore signed.
